What is Sculptra?

• Sculptra is an FDA-approved poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator that helps to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles. This injection works in the deep dermis to help revitalize collagen production and helps to restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.
• Sculptra is unique because it addresses an underlying cause of facial aging, not just the symptoms. 
• Sculptra is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called Poly-L-lactic acid. It is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments.
• Sculptra is injected in the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support the skin’s structure. As it is absorbed, it helps the body reproduce the collagen it has lost.
• Sculptra treatment is a gradual process and usually takes three treatments to achieve desired results. This gradual process allows the body to naturally start reproducing its own collagen, and the results last up to two years!
